The Ingredients Behind Gini’s

Every Gini’s product starts with real, whole ingredients — fresh ginger root, warming spices, and natural fruit. Here’s a closer look at what goes into the bottle and why we chose it.

Ginger — Our Foundation

Fresh ginger root is the base of every Wellness Shot and Ginger Beer Syrup we make. It’s a culinary staple that’s been used in traditional cooking and wellness practices for centuries, valued for its warming, spicy character and its long history as a digestive aid.

  • Traditionally used to support digestion and ease occasional stomach discomfort
  • A long-standing ingredient in warming, comforting beverages across many cultures
  • Known for its bright, spicy flavor that balances sweetness in our syrups and shots

Ingredients We Pair With Ginger

Several of our Wellness Shots and syrups add a second ingredient to round out ginger’s flavor and traditional benefits.

Turmeric

Found in our Turmeric Wellness Shots and Golden Milk Syrup. Turmeric is a golden-yellow root in the ginger family with a long history of culinary and traditional use, often paired with black pepper to help the body make use of it. We add a touch of black pepper to our turmeric products for that same reason.

Cinnamon

Found in our Ginger Wellness Shot with Cinnamon and Chai Spice Syrup. A warming spice with deep culinary roots, traditionally associated with supporting healthy blood sugar balance as part of a varied diet, and prized for its comforting, sweet-spicy flavor.

Elderberry

Found in our Ginger Wellness Shot with Elderberry. Elderberries have been used in traditional folk remedies for generations, particularly during cold-weather months, and bring a rich, tart-sweet berry flavor to this shot.

Peppermint

Found in our Ginger Wellness Shot with Peppermint. Peppermint is a classic pairing for ginger in traditional stomach-soothing preparations, adding a cool, refreshing finish to this shot’s spicy warmth.

Beetroot

Found in our Ginger Wellness Shot with Beetroot. Beets are a nutrient-dense root vegetable, often used by athletes in traditional and folk practice, and they lend a naturally sweet, earthy flavor and deep red color to this shot.

Honey

Used in several of our Turmeric and Spice Wellness Shots. Raw honey has a long history as a natural sweetener in traditional beverages, and we use just enough to round out the sharpness of ginger and turmeric — with zero-sweetener options available for those who prefer none at all.

How to Use Gini’s Products

Wellness Shots

Take at least 1 fl. oz. (2 tablespoons) daily. Enjoy it straight, or mix it into water, sparkling water, tea, coffee, juice, or a smoothie.

Ginger Beer Syrups

Mix 1 part syrup with 3 parts sparkling water, club soda, or seltzer for a classic ginger beer. Adjust to taste, and shake well before use — natural ginger solids settle over time.

Chai & Spice Syrups

Add 1 fl. oz. (2 tablespoons) to a cup of tea, coffee, or your favorite beverage for a warming, aromatic spiced flavor.

All Gini’s products contain no preservatives — refrigerate immediately upon receipt (Golden Milk Syrup can be stored without refrigeration). Bottles typically stay fresh for 2–3 months; check the Best Use By date on your bottle’s label.
